Be The Bush Indiana Path
Our program is built around three four-month phases, each designed to build on the last — moving men from structure and stability toward independence and purpose.
Phase 1: Foundation
Students attend classes three days a week, establishing the discipline, accountability, and spiritual grounding that recovery is built on.
Phase 2: Growth
Classes shift to two days a week, paired with work therapy on alternating days — combining continued teaching with the responsibility and work ethic recovery demands.
Phase 3: Purpose
In the final phase, students choose their path forward:

Re-Entry Program — job placement and savings accumulation to prepare for a strong, stable return to independent living.

Student Leader Program — an internship into the heart of recovery ministry, for those called to give back and lead others through the same process.
Woven through every phase is a daily rhythm of spiritual discipline — prayer, Bible reading, meditation, Christian fellowship, regular church attendance, worship, and community service — because lasting recovery is rooted in a changed life, not just changed circumstances.

The 12-Month Design
Be The Bush Indiana is a 12-month program leading men from addiction to Christ. We use the proven Teen Challenge framework adapted for our local students.
Three Vital Phases

A Daily Commitment
Daily life includes devotionals, church, and recovery classes. Students also engage in work therapy within our businesses to learn vital marketable skills.

Based in Indianapolis, we serve men across all of Indiana. Our goal is to see every student achieve lasting freedom through a relationship with Jesus.
Living in Faith
Expect a schedule filled with purpose. Participants engage in service projects and work therapy within our program-run businesses, gaining vocational skills while building character. This immersive environment combines rigorous discipleship with practical life training to ensure every man is equipped for a sober, God-honoring future.
